Introducing Nua Skin, a conceptual skincare brand developed as a branding exploration around
self-acceptance, the nature of real skin and mediterranean visual culture.
The name Nua — meaning “naked” in catalan — represents skin in its most honest state, free from unrealistic expectations. In an industry driven by filters and overcorrection, the project proposes a more human approach to beauty. Texture, marks, pores and irregularities are not treated as problems, but as signs of life.
The visual identity of Nua Skin translates this concept into hand-drawn abstract pencil lines and dots, used to represent the essence of real skin in a minimal and organic way. Rather than hiding the skin's natural irregularities, the brand elevates them into a poetic graphic language.
From strategic positioning and naming to visual systems and product storytelling, this project reflects a design approach rooted in concept, sensitivity and meaning — where every visual decision supports a deeper idea.
Skin does not need to be corrected; it needs to be understood.
